There are a lot of things to be aware of when you’re hiding your IP. You could be doing something illegal without knowing it. A lot of sites have weird rules in their TOS, you have to be aware of these and make sure you protect yourself. There happens to be quite a few good things that come from hiding your IP as well. Cons
- If using proxy, you’re trusting someone with your actual IP.
- You can be sued by sites for violating TOS.
- Not allowed by some places, and will result in bans.

@Ben – the link that you provided does not work …. that is a parked domain …..
And hiding the IP address is a necessity for certain kind of traffic, not for all the traffic.
