Hide IP projects that are not available anymore
Lately, I have come across several hide IP solutions there are not anymore sustained by their developers. These projects seem completely abandoned, they don’t even answer to the email requests. The reasons for abandoning them may be diverse, one of the most probable being the maintenance costs. Most of the hide ip solutions available on the market are based on proxies or VPN. Both involve significant costs.
The bottom line is that projects listed below are not available anymore for the users looking for privacy.
- Primedius WebTunnel - the domain is not available (probably for sale)
Description from Download.com: WebTunnel dynamically hides your IP (Internet address)and online activity in real time via a private proxy system, accessible to members only. It is your personal VPN.
- iPrivacyTools – Internet Explorer toolbar that can not purchased or downloaded anymore.
From the site: This easy to use tool lets you change your IP anytime by routing your Internet traffic through overseas servers.
- Invisible IP Map – It can downloaded but it does not work and can not be purchased.
From the site: Invisible IP Map is user-friendly software that masks your real location. Every computer that is connected to the Internet has its own IP address which could easily be located on a map.
