Video: How to download and install Tor

Tor is an open source project that hides your IP address through a network of virtual tunnels. If you want to find out more about how Tor works you should read this. If you just want to hide your IP address take a look to the excellent video made by Daniel Davis:

Steps are straight forward:

  1. Check your current IP address (www.cmyip.com, www.whatismyipaddress.com)
  2. Download and install Tor
  3. Enable it from Firefox
  4. Check your IP again

That’s it! Be aware that Tor might significantly slow down your internet connection.
