DNS Leakage for OperaTor?

On OperaTor home page I found a comment that signals some DNS leakage. If this proves to be true, it will kind of destroy the ‘anonymous browsing‘ idea.

Here is the comment:

All you useers should be aware, that Opera still does leak DNS REQUESTS! With Tor usage you only protect your web traffic, but dns queries still go to the dns server windows knows, so your boss or your provider still knows everything you did the last months using this “anon operator”. It is a shame, that the author does not write a warning about this – it is especially important for people that live in countries where you could be arrested or even killed by the so called “government” (means “the gangsters in power”).

Have you experienced such problems while using OperaTor? Let us know. Post a comment!

Happy Surfing!
