Update 4/15/2011: GPass has not been updated since 2008. You should check VPN services like HideIpVPN, HideMyAss or IAPS Security Services.
Gpass can be used to access sites like Hulu that are blocked outside US. These sites use geographical filtering based on visitor IP to block access of video content for users from other countries.
Hulu has some nice video content but, as you know, it is only available for US viewers. If you live outside US and try to access Hulu you get the following message:
Now, Gpass can be used to access Hulu or any other site that is restricted outside the US.
GPass is a free software used mainly to circumvent censorship from several countries like China, Pakistan, etc. Gpass works with Windows 2000, XP and Vista, it is portable so doesn’t need an installation, you can fire up from your USB stick.
This great software can also be used as a free solution to hide your ip and browse with US IP. Here are the steps you have to follow to see video content from Hulu:
- Download GPass from www.gpass1.com.
- Start GPass
- Select the fastest available server from the available GPass Servers
- Double Click on Default Browser
- Check your IP address on www.whatismyipaddress.com to make sure you are browsing with US IP address
- Goto to Hulu.com and start the video you want to see.
- Enjoy!

I tried the double click and it wouldn’t work. I don’t get it? Do I need to close the program and reopen or what? I’m kinda clueless about these things.
But I really want to watch Hulu. Help please.
