As you probably know, Microsoft has released this week version 8 of their Internet Explorer. IE8 is faster (the fastest if we consider Microsoft’s own tests) and more secured (White Paper: IE8 – A Safer Online Experience).
The question is how this affect the existing hide IP tools? Will the existing hide IP tools available on the market work with IE8?
Good news
The answer is simple: yes, all the hide IP available on the market will work exactly the same way as with IE7. Microsoft as not performed any changes in the way the Connection/Proxy settings are set up. Most of the hide ip tools just change your browser Proxy settings to use a certain proxy. So, if it part is not changed all tools should perform well.
If you are intersted in using your own proxies, here is a tutorial for IE8 (basically no change from IE7).
For VPN services the browser does not matter because they re-route all your internet traffic through the VPN connection.
Have you tried hiding your IP address using IE8?
Have you encountered any problems? Is IE8 really faster?
