SwissVPN – How to browse with Swiss IP address

SwissVPN offers encrypted VPN tunnel from your computer to a Swiss computer centre in Zurich. By using SwissVPN your traffic will safely tunnel all wireless and wired networks using encrypted VPN and you’ll surf the Internet from Switzerland.

How to test SwissVPN

If you want to be sure that you can successfully establish a connection to SwissVPN before you purchase an account, you may use the following test credentials to log in:

VPN server: connect.swissvpn.net
Username: swissvpntest
Password: swissvpntest

Follow the SwissVPN setup guide for your operating system (see below) and substitute these credentials where it says to enter your “SwissVPN user name and password”.

Important! The test account can only be used to connect to www.swissvpn.net – but you may check the VPN indicator next to the SwissVPN logo (see screenshot below) to verify that your VPN connection was successful (you may have to click the Refresh button in your browser to see the logo).

How do I set up my SwissVPN?

Check the guide your your operating system:

Since I am in Shanghai/China I am unable to update my blog which I set-up a little while ago. i was of the opinion that with Swiss VPN this would work.

    Why is this?
What can I do to circumvent this situation?

    Thanks,
    Schoibi
