More than 200 readers have responded to our March poll about the amount they are willing to spend or can afford to spend to protect their privacy. Let’s take a look to the results.

As expected more than half (58%) said that they do not afford to spend any money on their privacy and about 13% can not make online purchases (probably from countries like Iran).
It’s interesting that 14% of the responders would be willing to spent between $5 and $12 per year. Unfortunately, there is not much to buy for this money. The cheapest hide IP products start from $19.95 per year. So, I would add these 14% to the other 71%, to a total of 85% that do not spent money on their privacy.
For about 8% privacy is more important than money: they are willing to spend as much it is necessary.

Conclusion
