Well there are 'other' options, like dtunnel + vtunnel.com domains, a mate purchased a VPN service on taobao.com works well for him, I do use different dns servers, set in my router, not sure if that makes a difference, I will try later and use ISP default ones with this service later, but I doubt that makes a difference. Hotspot was good !
This packetiX service has never been as good.. peak evening times, particularly bad, late night, day time always better.

Hi Oxyandy: No luck from my end. I can really successfully connect to PacketiX, but it seems that I still can not access ANY blocked sites. When I was using Hotspot Shield, and then Ultrasurf, I can do so. But now HSS is blocked, and U/S now intermittent. PacketiX would have been my saviour, but now I just can not make it work. My bad...

You didnt answer me about Google, does it take you to Japan's google ?
It should....
I have never setup PacketiX from the guide as above..
I use the activex setup from http://www.packetix.net/en/secure/install/ takes a minute..
May I suggest you open the PacketiX manager delete the connection there and try the link above..</blockquote>

Hi Oxyandy: Yes, when I go to Google, it would show Japan's site. I will try the link as you have suggested, and I will give update asap.

Thanks for standing by...

you have a tray icon with green, red, blue and purple alternating dots ?
google in address bar takes you to Japan's google ?</blockquote>

Hi Oxyandy: That is correct. I have the tray icon as you have stated, and the icons of my LAN and VPN connections are both active and running. But when I try to connect to ANY blocked sites, I can not access. I'm using Firefox btw...

Thanks for your support.

Just to clarify that if ever there is a paid-version of this, then it is NOT what I have installed. I just practically downloaded everything according to the links available at the top portion of this page, under "PacketiX.NET setup".
