For those who use Internet Explorer as primary browsing tool, here is a list of toolbars that can be used to change the IP address and browse anonymously.
Firefox users are lucky to have a lot of add-ons that may be used change the ip address like SwitchProxy and FoxyProxy. Unfortunately, for Internet Explorer there are only a several toolbars that ensure anonymity browing. Here are the most well known:
- Anonymous Browsing Toolbar – is an easy to use online privacy application design to protect your online identity. It hides your IP address by routing your Internet traffic through remote servers. Simply choose a proxy from the list and surf the Internet with full privacy!

- Anonymity Shield – is an IE toolbar for protecting your online anonymity. It conceals your real IP address by routing your traffic through foreign anonymous proxies.
- Snipeomatic IE Toolbar – allows you to surf the web freely & provides you with a fake IP address, country of origin etc, thus enabling you to protect your privacy and against hijackers.

- Anonymous Forum Buddy – is the tool you need to be able to post again on any forum you were banned on.
- Anonymous Friend – is an Internet Explorer toolbar for hiding your IP address and now it is free to use.

The above toolbars are very similar and the functioning principle is based on setting up the Internet Explorer to use certain anonymous proxies.
