How to change your ip address using ipconfig command

When you are banned on a forum your IP address is logged and blacklisted. Every time you try to login to your forum account, your IP address is checked in the black list and if found you are rejected.

ipconfig_renew

The solution for this problem is very simple. Not need to use proxies, hide IP tools, etc. All you need to do is to renew your IP address.

Step 1. Copy the following commands into Notepad

Echo ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/flushdns
echo ipconfig/release
ipconfig/release
echo ipconfig/renew
ipconfig/renew
exit

Step 2. Save the file to changeip.bat
Step 3. Run the file (double click on it)

If you try to run this on Vista you have to to right-click the shortcut for the file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’.

Important! This works only if you are using a dynamic allocated IP address.

@jaan – This works only if you have a dynamically alocated IP address by your ISP. If you have a static IP address, the commands will do nothing.

@emma – Try to change your IP as described above. If your IP is changing then you have a dynamic allocated IP address. If you you have (most probably) a static allocated IP address.
