Theoretically, shouldn't it be possible to block the IP check? I know too little about how hulu checks to know for sure - I want to dig into it, but I don't know where to start... Hide-My-IP does change your IP but it does not work very well with Hulu. I tried several times, it worked with some IPs but with most it didn't. You are right! Hulu kept buffering so it was impossible to watch the video. Also as usual with these things, it only worked for one view, next time it didn't matter that I clear out the browser completely (I even clear out the flash LSO's). With 5 minutes left of the video, Hulu froze aswell. I'd say at this point, this option is worse that HotSpot Shield - with that I at least could watch a whole video without interruption (only worked once).
