If you are not happy with the speed and connectivity provided by the free VPN services, you can try getting free accounts from premium VPN providers.
The advantage of such an account is that the servers used are not overcrowded and it is more likely to get decent speed and quality. Moreover, most of the free VPNs that have US IPs (including Hotspot Shield) are blocked by Hulu. So, it’s possible to get free accounts that can be used to unblock all kinds of restricted websites, including Hulu.

HideIpVPN is a new VPN service that offers US and UK accounts. If you are a blogger, a webmaster, you have a Twitter account with many followers or you are a recognized member of some online forum you can get free UK/US VPN account from them. All you have to do is to write a review of HideIpVPN on your website, blog or forum and here you are.
Here are the requirements:
- The review must be written by you and not copied from other websites.
- The blog must have at least PageRank 2
- The review must contain a link (dofollow) to hideipvpn.com.

AceVPN is a VPN service that offers US (Colorado, Illinois, California) and Europe (UK, France) VPN accounts. The conditions for getting a free account are similar to HideIpVPN.
If you are a webmaster, blogger or a recognized member of some online forum, you can write about AceVPN on your website, blog or forum to get an invite to Ace VPN service for FREE.
Requirements:
- The content must be written by you and not copied from some where else
- You can put the review on the index page or any other secondary page. The write up should remain on the site as long you are using the FREE service
- The review must have a direct link (dofollow) to any page on acevpn.com
- The write up must be at least 150 words
- The write up can be in any language

HideIPVPN
I was lucky enough to win a free account with HideIPVPN in your Christmas giveaway. I am a British expat living in Europe and sometimes miss Aunty Beeb. Unfortunately you can only use the BBC iplayer within the UK due to some antiquated regulations.
I downloaded and installed the program and then registered it. This is my first contact with this type of program so I was a little unsure of what to do but the online help was very clear and I was able to get it up and running in a very short period of time.
Now I can connect and use the BBC iplayer. NB you will need to download adobe air and some other stuff from the BBC but it was quite straightforward. The only problem I do have is sometimes the buffering but I believe that part of this may be due to my slow internet connection.
I was also able to use the same setup again so I can surf from the USA and watch Hulu and some others but I am not too interested and have not tried further.
Overall I would give it 5/5 for a free program and would recommend it.
This seems to work with all browsers , I am using Chrome which in some ways seems poorly supported by some developers.
I also heard about ultrasurf from the forums but that only seems to work with IE.

I did th same with Acevpn and they refused to give nothing at all
so i wiped my review
Ace VPN doesn’t have a free service anymore…but they keep lieing that it will be reopened someday…I have a free account and it’s not working for over 8 months now.
