Hide IP & VPN Christmas Giveaway: SurfBouncer

hideipgiveaway20

SurfBouncer is a personal VPN subscription service operating on the SurfBouncer Encrypted Network  that provides access to high encryption servers in order to secure your connection to the internet. The services has been available around the world since 2006. Customers from all over the world (Belize, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Yemen, Mexico, Brazil) are using the service as a hotspot VPN to ensure their privacy.

Surf Bouncer creates a 100% encrypted, personal VPN connection from your computer to secure servers. In addition, your data is compressed to maximize your bandwidth. With this hotspot shield, nobody — including the owners of the network you are on — can see any of your information or know which sites you are surfing.

SurfBouncer Main Features

  • All web surfing, Email, instant messaging and more, are encrypted.
  • Unblocks web sites, allows IP phones to appear to be in the USA or Europe and secures your connection.
  • Protects your  personal info while ensuring access to all of your favorite web sites inside or outside of the US.
  • Works with Windows, OS X, Linux, iPhone and more.

SurfBouncer Server Locations and Packages

SurfBouncer gives you the choice of personal VPN servers that can terminate either in the United States, Canada or Europe! Unlike other companies, they do not charge a premium for Canadian and European servers. The default SurfBouncer configuration is set up to terminate your connection in the USA. But by changing your configuration, you can easily switch to the other servers, and back, whenever you want.

The cost for personal VPN service is $119.99 per year, billed annually. In addition, short term options of as little as a week are offered for special purposes. The personal VPN software is free and is based on OpenVPN which is a highly regarded and tested open source product. You pay only the monthly subscription fee for the service.

SurfBouncer Giveaway: 12 1-Month Free Accounts

SurfBouncer gives away 12 1-month accounts to the lucky readers of How-to-hide-ip.info. The rules are simple. “Comment to Win“. Leave a comment below making sure you enter a VALID eMail address in the comment form. More comments will NOT increase your chances of winning as they will be considered only once! Important! The winners would have to sign up via the normal process. SurfBouncer will not charge them but they would have to validate with a credit card before being allowed on the network. If you are not willing to provide this info, please do not apply for the giveaway.

Winners will be chosen randomly using List randomizer. All the winners will be contacted via email directly. Contest closes at 11:59 am GMT on December 21st 2009 and the results will be published here, in this post.

    Dear Admin
    In the giveaway of SmartHide,I noticed something
    There were 85 comments when you close this giveaway and the random.org list shows 78,why is it so?
    Are you posting the names of only those commentators who has not won any giveaway before or is there something else which you are hiding
    Please clear this doubt of mine,so that i wont post any comment on further giveaways,see for 24 hrs everyone has to wait for the offer including me

    And in this giveaway too there is something else also

    “The winners would have to sign up via the normal process. SurfBouncer will not charge them but they would have to validate with a credit card before being allowed on the network. If you are not willing to provide this info, please do not apply for the giveaway”

    If the conditions of a Credit Card details are must,then why this one count as a freebie,ppl like students etc who cant fulfill the requirement of a credit card how can they partcipate

    very much confusing

    waiting for an early response
    Thanks & Regards
    TC

    Please remove my previous comment, as I changed my mind to take part in this contest. It seems too suspicious they require credit card data firstly, and secondly I don’t think this is a real giveaway as long as not all people can freely take part in this competition.

    P.S. I don’t mind paying money for good software when I know that developers of that software are fully trusted but I’m not going to reveal my financial info to some “Black Horses” like developers of SurfBouncer anonymous software.

    @shootingspy – For the first issue the explanation is very simple. There are users that post multiple comments using the same email address or they come from the same IP address. They are considered only once.

    As it is written in the giveaway action rule, anyone can win multiple giveaway. So this is not a restriction.

    Regarding SurfBouncer, it is a giveaway as you get 1 month of full VPN access. The credit card is their request in order to be sure no spam or illegal actions are perfomed on their servers. The card will not be charged during the 1 month giveaway.

    Hi,

    I waited for this to be closed first to leave a comment about the “credit card validation”.

    This is common practice with many services offering free trial periods; instead of cutting your access to the service when the
    trial period is over, they just go ahead and charge your credit card.

    I don’t think this very “customer friendly” attitude.

    This is of course not how-to-hide-ip.com’s or HideIP Admin’s responsibility – the giveaway season here is great!

    Thanks for all the chances,
    ad_infinitum

  54. Posted December 21, 2009 at 6:12 pm | Permalink

    @ad_infinitum

    There is a $1.00 authorization to the credit card to validate the user. Our concern is strictly one of not having our network becoming the source for spam, 401 scams or other such things.

    Nothing is charged and there is no re-bill after a month.

    It is totally free with no future charges or commitment.

    @patrick feenan – There are no winning posts. The results are posted within the same post.

    Regarding the winners’ countries, it would be interesting to find out. Maybe, after the holidays, I will take some time to build such a statistic.

    Hi,

    @SurfBouncer
    My apoligizes if I missunderstood your approach.

    @HideIP Admin & @patrick feenan
    Do you think this statistic is fitting for a site about anonymity & privacy? What exactly is the point in making public what countries visitors are from, even in the form of a statistic?

    Thanks,
    ad_infinitum
