PaperBus – New & Free Ad-Based Proxy Tool

Update 5/16/2011: PaperBus is no longer available. Are you looking for excellent proxies? Here is what I recommend: Anonymous Proxies.

This is really a fresh, newly born, hide ip tool that I’m glad to present here, at How-to-hide-ip.info. PaperBus was launched today (21st of January) and hopes to become a serious contender to Hotspot Shield, Ultrasurf, Tor, NotMyIP and other free online anonymity applications.

Basically, PaperBus is a proxy service with a nice, user-friendly interface. The best thing is that PaperBus is free. Plus:

  • It’s fast
  • It handles AJAX and Javascript heavy sites no problem
  • It handles HTTPS connections no problem
  • No registrations and very easy to use

As mentioned in the Terms of Service agreement, PaperBus is ad-based. It opens a new tab that shows an ad when you begin your session, and then again every 20 minutes.  The ad page looks like this: http://www.paperb.us/support_the_sponsors.php.

The installation and usage of PaperBus are extremely simple. Just download the setup and follow the steps. Then you will be able to start browsing anonymously.

It works both for Internet Explorer and Firefox. The proxy provided by PaperBus is located in US as revealed by a what-is-my-ip-address test:

What do you think of PaperBus? Have you used it?

To sum up, I’m glad that another free hide ip tool is available and I’m sure that PaperBus will help a lot fo users to bypass the Great Firewall and overcome censorship.

So, give it a try and let me know what you think of it.

P.S. PaperBus is made by the  same people that created Freedur, for which you have a 10% discount with HOWTOHIDEIP coupon. Enjoy!

Program – Good. But the speed is low all the same. In other free analogs (for example, freegat) rate is much higher

    it’s still beta.
you better to change proxy setting manually to 127.0.0.1:3998.
after that you don’t need to turn on/off it.

Do you really believe in ‘free anonymity’ on the internet ? They collect your data and sell to third party agencies. Maybe China Government too ??? I would stay away from this.

of course, just like hotspotshield, it’s ad supported. don’t attack a service without basis.
