Hostizzle is a new VPN service that also provides free accounts with 100GB monthly data transfer included, which should be enough for the average Internet user. The free service works on server with 1 Gbps port and US based IP addresses.
If you need more bandwidth then you need to upgrade your account: for $2.35 extra you get 350 GB of bandwidth and at $5 a month unlimited data transfer.
Hostizzle uses the Open VPN client which you an download from here: OpenVPN client. OpenVPN is more secured than PPTP which many of VPN providers use.
Here is what you need to do in order to get the free VPN account:
Step 1. Go to Hostizzle download page and submit your email address which is required to generate your unique OpenVPN key.
Step 2. Click on the “Get VPN codes” button on the page that opens and download the zip file that contains the key.
Step 3. Unzip the contents of the archive to the OpenVPN /config directory. On a Windows machine, this will be at C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config.
Step 4. Run the OpenVPN client, then right click on the tray icon and select Connect. The VPN client connects automatically and routes all your IP traffic over the secure connection.
The certificate is valid for only thirty days. After that, you will have to return to Hostizzle.com to regenerate the VPN codes.
Important! As with other newly born services, you should be careful. My advice is to not use any private info while connected at least you are certain the provider is trustful.
