I am trying to find a way to connect from an office network – privately – to my home PC. Here are the problems – I want a remote screen control connection (like logmein.com or teamviewer etc). The office computer is restricted in that software INSTALLS are restricted but you can run EXE files (ie TeamViewer.exe). The connection to home PC must be encrypted and direct (so firewall logs will only show your PC connected to your home external IP – and not you going to logmein.com or via TeamViewers servers). Apart from setting up a TSGateway and using MSTSC (Win2008 server). Is there anying out there that can do this? I have searched for months and found nothing. SSL tunning wont work since the firewall restricts port 22. Ideally there should be a software where you run the server side on your home PC – run the client on your office PC, input your external IP/domain name (port fowarding on home router also required) and you are connected. Something like VNC – but where the traffic is encrypted. Let me know if anyone has found a way for this.
Appreciate your ideas and advice.
